We just got back from Disney and on our next trip we wanted to book 2 rooms instead of 1. Can that be done on the website or is it better to call Disney directly to book so the rooms are near each other. We would like try a moderate resort this time

    Hiya Lisa Marie!

Thank you for visiting us again at planDisney with your planning question. I love that you've just returned from the Most Magical Place On Earth... and are already dreaming of that next pixie-dusted adventure!

Over the years my family has taken annual vacations at Walt Disney World, and it's always so exciting to try a new Disney Resort that we haven't experienced before. My top recommendation of a Moderate Resort would be Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which is one of our favorite resorts for so many reasons. You'll love the convenience of having access to ride the Disney Skyliner, on your EPCOT and Hollywood Studios park days. My kids both love the pirate themed Fuentes del Morro Pool. And I feel the lush tropical landscaping and island vibes throughout this beautiful property takes your vacation to the next level! Oh, and you've also got easy walking access to my favorite "Breakfast à la Art" character breakfast at Topolino's Terrace, which gives you the opportunity to take in the gorgeous views from the top of Riviera Resort. It's worth mentioning that the Caribbean Beach Resort does offer 5th sleeper rooms, which may be an option to consider.

Let's talk about how to book connecting rooms. While the Disney Resort Hotel Collection offers connecting and adjoining rooms, the supply is limited and these cannot be guaranteed ahead of time. When you make your reservation, requesting "connecting room" is one of the options provided. In your case, I recommend making your desired reservations online first. Then I would encourage you to call a Cast Member at Disney Resort Reservations and request that they add a note to your booking stating you'd like connecting or nearby rooms. If your party is a family traveling together, be sure to mention that as well. They love helping guests have a magical stay, and will do their best to arrange rooms that are close together!

I hope this helps, Lisa Marie! If you'd like any further assistance in finding the practically perfect Disney Resort for your party's next vacation, please visit us again at planDisney.

    Magical memories await,
    Tami
