    We just got back from a celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary at WDW. We had dinner at the Rose and Crown and I fell in love with the apple salad. What type of lettuce did they use?

    Hi, Carol!  The ingredients in any of the dishes served are subject to change, so I hope when you enjoyed this wonderful salad, it was the same one I had last week when I was there!

    The lettuce used is a frisee lettuce.  The lettuce is topped with Stilton cheese, dried cranberries, candied nuts, and fresh apples.  I am drooling all over my keyboard just thinking about it!

    You can dress this with a vinaigrette and come pretty close to making it at home!  That will help hold you over until your next visit to EPCOT!

    And happy, happy anniversary!  What an absolutely amazing milestone!  I'm just about half way to where you are, and I hope we're blessed with the number of years together that you have enjoyed!
