Welcome aboard, Wendi! My family and I sailed on our very first back to back Disney cruises a few months ago, and let me tell you: that is the way to go! I wish we could make every one of our Disney Cruise Line vacations back to back cruises. You're going to enjoy both sailings, but especially that last day of the first one when all of the other guests have to wave goodbye and leave the ship. You'll be ready to start cruise number two! So exciting!
Since you have the same stateroom for both sailings, there is no need to pack your bags. Simply remind your stateroom host that you'll be on the next sailing too. Our stateroom host already knew when we reminded him, but we wanted to tell him just to be sure. We received a note in our stateroom the night before disembarkation of the first cruise. It gave us specifics about
sailing back to back and what we needed to know. It can vary by cruise, but basically, just know that you will have to disembark for a short period that morning. Just bring a day bag with you with a few activities for the kids, since you'll have to spend a bit of time in the port terminal. But, you and other back to back sailors will then be the first ones back on the ship. I highly suggest wearing your swimwear under whatever clothes you wear off the ship. Once you re-board, you can head right to the pool deck and enjoy a less crowded area, and best of all - no lines at the
AquaDuck! Hooray! Just check the hours for the pools and AquaDuck to be sure.
Have so much for on both of your cruises, Wendi!
