How do back to back cruises work? Do you have to get off between cruises? Do you keep the same room? Do you have to take all your stuff off and then all back on again? Thanks

    Ahoy, Jami!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! In my opinion, there is nothing better than planning a cruise except for when it's a back-to-back cruise vacation! With so much to experience on a Disney Cruise ship having two sailings to experience it all is a great plan. My family was fortunate enough to sail back-to-back a few years ago, and we thought the process between sailings was smooth and seamless. If you are able to book the same stateroom for both sailings, you will not have to pack your belongings for the second cruise. If you do have to switch staterooms, your stateroom host/hostess will move your suitcases for you. On the night before the second sailing, you will receive specific directions in your stateroom on what to do the following morning. We were able to keep the same stateroom, so we left everything in the room. We only took our customs form, passports, cruise check-in forms and a few items to keep us occupied in the port. After having breakfast, we disembarked the ship and passed through U.S. Customs. After that, it was back up the escalator to wait until we could check-in for the second cruise. Our wait was not long at all. We received a special boarding pass and once the officials cleared the ship, we were able to board again. The ship was empty, so we spent the time lounging by the pool until lunch. We were able to go back to our stateroom even though regular Guests have to wait until 1:30 p.m.
I hope this gives you a better idea of what to expect, Jami! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Good luck with your planning!
