Can a baby be 24 weeks old vs the 6months verbiage, which is still the same clinically speaking, to board the Disney cruise for their first time?

    Ahoy there, Natalie!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for dropping anchor here with your question about the minimum age for travel on board Disney Cruise Line sailings. It is my pleasure to set sail in search of an answer for you.

It sounds like you are looking to book your next sailing on board Disney Cruise Line, and while it is a magical adventure for all ages, there are minimum age requirements that must be met on embarkation day. The minimum age to sail aboard a Disney cruise ship is 6 months on the day of sailing. This minimum sailing age is date-based, not week-based. So, while 24 weeks is close to being 6 months of age, the minimum age is calculated by the date that is 6 months from the date of birth. For Transatlantic, Panama Canal, and Hawaii itineraries, the minimum age is 1 year on the day of sailing.

I hope this information helps you find the perfect Disney Cruise Line sailing that aligns with the minimum age requirements. If you have additional questions, please come back to planDisney. We are always happy to help our Pals with answers.

    Happy Sailing!
