Welcome aboard, Laine! A Disney cruise is the perfect way to vacation for
families with little ones. Disney's
Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are the two youth clubs for those young sailors ages three to twelve. Little buccaneers must be full potty-trained to attend these clubs. Since you are still many months away from your late summer sailing, you've got plenty of time to work on potty-training with your daughter. However, if she's not quite there by the time you sail, she can absolutely spend some time in
It's A Small World Nursery onboard. Just like in the older kids' clubs, the nursery is full of activities and events for the littlest cruisers, with outstanding counselors who love to entertain the little ones! The difference is that there is an additional hourly fee for the nursery, whereas the Oceaneer Club and Lab are included in the cost of your cruise. The nursery also requires advanced reservations, while the Club and Lab are open to drop in and out whenever the parents want to bring the kids for secured playtime.
The good news is that since your daughter be three when you sail, she will be welcome in either the nursery or Club and Lab. And if she's not potty trained but still wants to experience the super cool spaces in the Club and Lab, you are welcome to drop in to stay and play in the Club and Lab with her during Open House hours. These occur each day and it's a great time for parents to stay and play with their kiddos, as it's open to all guests, and kids must have their parents with them during these hours. She won't miss out either way, Laine!
