Awesome panel! Planning first stay at Wilderness Lodge - are there lots to do in the resort for 1 year old and 3 years old? Is the pool heated? Will there be nightly movie showing in November? Any advise on Standard vs Wood view room? Thank you so much!

    Hi Jenny!

The Wilderness Lodge is my absolute favorite! I'm so excited to hear that you've picked it too!

The resort features a ton of activities. The pool is heated, and many activities take place there. There are even scheduled Rubber Ducky Races which end up in the pool! When you check in, you'll receive a calendar of events which lists all the different activities at the resort. My kids still enjoy the daily cookie decorating at Roaring Fork restaurant!

Movies are shown nightly nearly year-round, so hopefully there will be some when you are there.

Personally, I love the woods view rooms that face the Magic Kingdom. While these rooms do not have a perfect view of the park and Contemporary, you can catch glimpses of the castle and fireworks at night. Its a great perk! My favorite request is for a room on the North side, facing the Magic Kingdom on an upper floor!

Hope you have a WONDERFUL time at my favorite place!
