I am aware that Selfie Sticks are now banned from Disney theme parks but I want to bring my GoPro to record my trip. Would a hand grip be acceptable just to secure my GoPro? It does no extend and it would the size would range anywhere from 5in-8.5in.

Hi, Marisa! My son took his GoPro on our trip last month, and he was allowed to take it and his accessories inside the Theme Parks. He had his hand grip with him and was questioned about it each time he went through the baggage check. Once he showed that it did not extend like a selfie stick, he was allowed to keep it.  It should be noted, however, that your hand grip extends farther than the one he has. I don't know if that will make a difference. He was also allowed to keep his chest strap.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
