Hi! We have avoided the "Rockin' Rollercoaster" on every trip because our son is afraid of going upside-down. He will be 9 on our next trip and I would love to try it! Does it actually go upside down, or is it just an illusion?

There are many illusions at WDW, but that's not one of them. The Rock n' Roller Coaster really does feature three inversions (that's code for upside-down turns). If your son is uncomfortable with this ride, then perhaps you could take advantage of the rider swap option. The rider swap is where two adults with a child who is unwilling or unable to enjoy an attraction can take turns riding while only having to wait in the standby line once. If you're interested in this, speak to the cast member attendant at the ride entrance.

P.S. Many people love the Rock n' Roller Coaster, but in my book your son is one smart cookie :-)
