    Hi. Avid Disney Cruisers here, probably 11 or 12 times so far. We "think" we heard about upcoming changes in travel laws for the Mediterranean Cruise which will require travel visas. Is this true?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I love talking to fellow Disney Cruise Line enthusiasts!  How exciting to hear that you have achieved that coveted Platinum Castaway Club status.  I am sure you have many magical memories from sailing with Captain Mickey!

    No matter how many times I sail, I am always in a hurry to get back and explore a new port.  How thrilling that you are considering your next high seas adventure in the Mediterranean!  There are so many options with the recently released Summer 2020 Itineraries, including a return to Greece!  Disney Cruise Line sure likes to tempt us Castaways!

    I also heard about the proposed changes to visa requirements in Europe and did some research for our upcoming Mediterranean Cruise onboard the Disney Magic this May.  From what I was able to find, it appears the recent vote was to recommend visa requirements for citizens visiting Europe, but no changes have been made at this time. 

    Although these requirements do not appear to have changed at this time, it is very important you always check the Passport, Visas and Citizenship Documentation guidelines required by Disney Cruise Line prior to your sailing.  It looks like there are some visa requirements for Europe in the current guidelines.  All requirements are subject to change, so it is best to review these a few times prior to your sailing.  You can also check the U.S. State Department website for more details.
