Hi Kristin!
The "Mousekeepers" at Walt Disney World are amazing! Every visit we have, I'm blown away at the extra touches that the Mousekeepers bring to our room. In the past they've crafted fun animals from the towels and left them on our bed, posed my daughter's dolls and hung my son's Toy Story toys from the curtains. Of course they also do a great job at cleaning the room and leaving more toiletries. The standard tip ranges from $1-$5 a day. Since your Mousekeeper may change throughout your stay, you may want to tip each day to ensure the individual performing the service receives the tip. But it's also acceptable to leave one larger tip at the end of the week.
I remember during one of our visits we left our Mousekeeper a tip each day and she was so appreciative, she wrote us a note thanking us and brought us a balloon bouquet the next day to thank us! Talk about going the extra mile! We were so impressed we left her even more in the following days!
Some other resources you may find helpful are the listing of all of the
guests services and assistance throughout the resorts, as some of these services appreciate tips as well. For example, when you check in, you can ask a Bell Hop to bring your luggage to your room and tip $1-$2 per bag. Also at the
Table Service restaurants, gratuity is not included in the Disney Dining Plan, so you'll want to tip 20%.
Magically,
Stacy
