Is there an "average" time it takes to get to one park to another, or from a park to a resort? ex. we will be in animal kingdom and have ADR for ohana's at 5:15pm. will an hour be enough time? not sure how to plan travel time. thanks for your help

    Hi Jill,

Travel time at the Walt Disney World Resort varies based on traffic, weather and time of year. It also depends on where you are starting and where you want to go.

In general, if you are going from any park to any resort, an hour is enough time in most cases using the motorcoach. Boat launches and monorails will reduce your time because Disney castmembers are the only drivers on those "roads".

If you are on a bus for the Polynesian by 4:00 pm, you will easily make your 5:15 show. In addition, if you see a bus for the Contemporary or Grand Floridian, you can hop on either of those buses and take the monorail to the Polynesian.

    Enjoy!
