On average, what sit down restarurants are least expensive? I plan on going ot two signature restaurants during our stay and will have to pay for two meals due to that. Any ideas? Thx LB

If you go to the website allearsnet.com and search for an article called "Menus from Around the World", you will find menus, with pricing, from nearly every restaurant at WDW.  Your costs at just about all the restaurants at Disney World can be well controlled depending on what you choose to order.

For example, at the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney's Hollywood (a table service restaurant that I think is fairly inexpensive), the entrees range in price from about $12 to about $19. If you're adding an appetizer, dessert, and a specialty beverage, you will have a more sizable bill. But if you're just getting a sandwich and water, you can have table service with great themeing at minimal cost. At Epcot's Teppan Edo, a more expensive table service restaurant, the price of the entrees varies by more than $15. The food choices you make will greatly impact the cost of your meal. Take a look at the various menus and you'll be able to get a cost estimate based on your own personal food preferences.

Another thing to think about is making lunch you main meal of the day. For big eaters this can be a cost saver. The Disney buffets have substantially the same food available at lunch as dinner, but the lunch is less expensive. Since the buffets are all-you-care-to-eat, you can really fill up for the whole day here, with maybe just a snack around dinner time.
