Hi there, Megan, and welcome to planDisney!
Lightning Lanes are
the best way to get the most out of a Disney theme park day.
Lightning Lane Multi, Single, and Premier Passes all have their perks and ways of “skipping” attraction standby lines. But the Premier Pass is just that: premier. With it, you won’t need to make any pre-selections for attractions. It gives you one-time Lightning Lane access to all available attractions throughout the day. Buckle up, and I’ll share what I know about this awesome option’s pricing.
First, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass’s exact pricing is posted in
My Disney Experience app up to 21 days before your desired date. The prices vary widely by theme park choice and selected date. The closer you are to a holiday or other popular season, the higher the price. For example,
Animal Kingdom tends to have the lowest priced options (as of now, around $160) and
Magic Kingdom usually has the highest priced options (at the moment, around $400). These prices are per person and per day.
Staying on property at a Disney Resort Hotel (or another eligible hotel)? You can book your Premier Pass 7 days prior to your arrival. If not, your purchase window is up to 3 days before your arrival. I have not tested it out yet, but some of my friends have and they think that it is hands down worth the cost. So, if you’re on the fence about purchasing it, just think about how flexible your park day would be without a care in the world about return windows and in-app bookings.
Megan, you are in for an amazing time at Disney World this fall! While you’re in this neck of the woods, check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It’s a fun and easy way to snack and drink your way around the world without a passport—the dishes and other creations are delicious! If you have additional Disney vacation planning questions,

Magic always,
LeAndra
