what is the average cost of food per person at Disneyworld for a full week.

    Dear Kathy,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for your family's meals during your upcoming stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I have traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort at many different price levels, and so I can attest that there are ways to have the experience that you desire without breaking the bank. Alternatively, there are ways to spend as much as you want to for all of the gourmet food that your family can consume. Of course, most of us fall somewhere in the middle of that range.

If you buy groceries and eat one or two meals per day using those groceries, you can spend as little as $30 per person per day, for a Quick-Service meal and a couple of snacks. The high end of the budget could be up to several hundred dollars per person per day for all signature meals and expensive wines. Most people probably fall in the middle of that range. If you plan to eat all three meals each day at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, I recommend that you consider the Disney Dining Plan, as it will help you to standardize your purchasing and will also allow you to pre-pay for your meals so it's one less thing to worry about.

I know that's just a start to help you plan. There are some terrific Disney dining calculators, if you do an internet search for them.

    Have a magical time!
