Ahoy there, Jessica!
Welcome aboard! This time next week, you'll be enjoying your beautiful
Bahamian voyage on the
Disney Fantasy. You've chosen a fantastic itinerary for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I love that you'll have two sea days to experience this floating destination and one day on
Disney Castaway Cay. It will be a magical adventure!
Jessica, I know when you wake up on embarkation day, you are ready to board the ship and leave your worries behind. I hope my answer helps make your arrival at the port smooth and seamless. Disney Cruise Line staggers the port arrival times to help with the flow of arrivals and crowds in the terminal. If you are driving to the cruise terminal, I would plan extra time in case of traffic or congestion due to other ships in port that day. You can drop off your luggage with the porters at any time. My family typically drives to
Port Canaveral, so we like to arrive 30-45 minutes before our scheduled time to avoid feeling rushed. This timeframe usually allows us to park, complete check-in, security, and board the ship with ease. You'll want to have your port arrival form printed or the QR code saved to your mobile wallet, as you will need to show it multiple times as you move through the port. Also, have your
travel documentation and any
DisneyBand+ or
MagicBands+ with you in your carry-on luggage. These will be needed by the Cast Member checking you in.
Your Disney Fantasy awaits, Jessica! My best advice is to plan plenty of time, and if you arrive early, be patient as you wait to hear those magical words, "Welcome Aboard!" You'll be cruising before you know it and waving bon voyage to Florida as your vacation gets underway.
Safe travels,
Nancy
