We were automatically signed up for second seating,8:30. That's too late for our granddaughter. What are the chances we will be moved to first ofter sailing? I know we can get room service but don't want eat in room every night.

    Ahoy, Patricia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A Disney Cruise is magical at any age, and I know you'll enjoy experiencing all the magic and wonder through the eyes of your sweet granddaughter! Special memories will be made that I'm sure will be cherished for years to come!
I'm glad you asked this question because I definitely have a couple of tips for you. First, I suggest giving Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to ask to be put on the waitlist for first seating. Guests often change their minds, so there is no harm in going ahead and adding your name to the list. About three days prior to departure, check your online reservation information to see if your seating is still the same. If it is, you'll want to speak to the dining team once you are aboard. They are always available in one of the main dining rooms to talk with Guests about any dining changes or questions. For specific details on where and when to go to request your change, check the front page of your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator. This will be given to you when you check in at the cruise terminal, so you'll have plenty of time to review over it while you wait to board. I know many people have had luck getting their seating moved on the first afternoon so my fingers are crossed for you, Patricia.
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and good luck!
