Are you automatically entitled to Disney after hours when you stay at a disney world resort or is this a extra charge?

    Rhonda,

    Thanks for your question!

So Disney After Hours events are extra charge events. Sometimes these can be confused with the Evening Extra Magic Hours that are a perk for staying in a Disney Resort Hotel. You can buy tickets to these events at the Walt Disney World website, and the 3-hour event gets you more than just shorter lines to key attractions. There are a lot of fun entertainment surprises at the party, and smaller crowds to contend with. They can be a great special treat for you and your group on a vacation!

Oh, did I forget to mention that as part of that ticketed event you get select beverages and snacks included? There are carts throughout the park with popcorn, some special ice cream treats, and non-alcoholic beverages that are complimentary as part of the event. Personally, on trips where we don't have the kids with us it is a great way to have a fun night getting in a ton of rides and enjoying the parks at night, which is when they really shine!

I hope that this helps? Write us back if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
