    IS THE AUTOGRAPH BOOK INCLUDED IN THE CARACTER MEALS OR IS THAT A SEPARATE PURCHASE? IF IT IS SEPARATE, CAN YOU CREATE YOUR OWN OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE ONE FROM WALT DISNEY WORLD?

    Collect characters' autographs is a popular activity at WDW. Autographs books are not included as part of any character dining experience. However, there are autograph books for sale at nearly every gift shop at WDW. When I was there last week, I saw three different versions priced from about $6.00 to about $10.00 each.

    Though autograph books are for sale at Disney World, you do not have to use those books. You can purchase one elsewhere or make one at home and the characters will be happy to sign. In fact, the characters don't even have to sign books. I have seen characters sign other items for guests as well: calendars, photo mattes, photos, greeting cards, plush animals, baseball caps, t-shirts, etc. Use your imagination!

    You should know that while characters will sign clothing, the guest must not be wearing the clothing at the time. If you want a t-shirt signed, bring a sturdy piece of cardboard to insert into the shirt to give the character something firm to sign against. Also, if you have something unusual that you want signed, you should make sure that you have the appropriate writing tool for the character to use.
