we are from Australia, a family of four, will be our first time visit to DW in January 2018. If we are staying 7 days (6 nights) for theme parks, is it better to stay in one resort and go various parks or different resorts for various parks? thanks. jane

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Min and Jane!

I'm so excited to hear about your magical adventure to the United States for your very first visit to Walt Disney World! We just met new friends from Australia on our Disney Cruise last week and they had just enjoyed their very first Disney World vacation last year too. You're in for so much magic!

I highly recommend choosing just one of the Walt Disney World Resorts to enjoy for your entire week long stay. Since all of the resorts are right there on Disney property, it's never a far ride to get to any of the four parks or Disney Springs. Disney offers transportation between all of the resorts and parks, so just hop on a monorail, bus, or boat and you'll be at the park you'd like to visit in no time at all! Take a look at all of the exciting resorts you have to choose from and find the one that fits your family's budget and desires best and go for that one. No matter which you choose, you'll be able to hop between the parks easily and relax knowing you don't have to pack and up move to another resort just to attend a different park, since they're all right there!

Have fun planning this big adventure!
