Aloha, Mary!
We enjoyed our second trip to
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa this past summer, and we cannot wait to go back. I’m already trying to plan a stay for my husband’s 50th birthday in two years. This resort is just amazing, and I recommend you plan at least a day or two to completely relax and enjoy what is available at the resort, in addition to exploring some of the sights of the island. With an amazing pool area, delicious dining, warm ocean breezes, and stunning sunsets, Aulani has something for everyone in the family.
At this time, Auntie’s Beach House has not reopened due to pandemic protocols. But you’ll still find plenty of fun for the little ones. Enjoy building a sandcastle on the beach, a trip down the waterslide and lazy river, and be sure to leave time to enjoy Uncle’s storytelling. Depending on the age and interests of the kids in your group, I highly recommend the Build your Own Mickey Ears activity. While this is an extra cost, it was one of our favorite activities. My daughter and I enjoyed spending time together picking out our flowers and decorations and creating our own, one-of-a-kind light-up ears!
I recommend you review the
know-before-you-go information for the resort. It should help give you a better idea of what may or may not be available during your visit. Also, be sure to download the
Aulani App to your mobile phone so you'll have all the latest information including a resort map and daily schedule at your fingertips. I hope this helps with your planning, Mary. Mahalo, (thank you) for stopping by with your question!
