Welcome to
planDisney, Mikayla! I’m excited to know that you may have a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the near future! Thanks for sending us your question.
What a wonderful birthday gift! Your aunt is so generous and thoughtful. I just know your kids would love a fun-filled day at the theme parks for their birthday! When it comes to purchasing and actually using Florida Resident
theme park tickets, they must first be activated by showing
Proof of Florida Residency. Your aunt can visit any ticket window at the theme parks or visit the
Disney Springs Guest Services location, to activate those theme park tickets after purchasing them. Then your kiddos will be able to use them, without her having to actually visit the parks with you. Although, I think you would all have a wonderful time together!
Mikayla, once you have those tickets, there are a few new steps to take before your magical visit. After linking your party's theme party tickets to your
My Disney Experience account, you will need to make a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for them. You can always check the
availability calendar to make sure your desired dates are open, for the park you would like to visit.
You can also take a look at the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World resort website. It includes all of the information about the health and safety measures in place right now, all over the Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to come back to see us. For more planning tips from the planDisney family, you can also view our
Panel Extras.
Have a
magical visit!
