Hi Victor and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to know that you have a
Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works! Thanks for sending us your question!
When it comes to Florida Resident theme park tickets, a Florida Resident must be present to show
Proof of Florida Residency to exchange those vouchers for valid theme park tickets. Your aunt can show proof of Florida residency at any theme park ticket window or at the Guest Relations office at Disney Springs.
Victor, your aunt would only need to be present the first time the tickets are used, so if she purchased multi-day tickets for your kids, she wouldn’t need to be present any of the other days of your visit. Although, it might be nice to treat her to dinner at her favorite
Walt Disney World Resort restaurant to thank her for the gift!
You’re visiting at such a great time because all of the theme parks will be dressed up in their Holiday best! The Magic Kingdom Park is always a sight to see and I love visiting Epcot during the International Festival of the Holidays. You’ll also find lots of Holiday cheer at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the new Toy Story Land, where Andy puts some Christmas touches on his backyard décor.
I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your visit. Feel free to come back to see us with any other questions you might have. Helping you with the details of your next magical stay is our pleasure!
Veronica
