Hi. In August, I will be visiting DISNEY for the first time. What time do the shops in downtown Disney close? Where can I purchase snacks and water(at a reasonable price) to bring into the parks?

    Hi Nadia,

Hooray for first trips to my favorite vacation spot! The shops at Downtown Disney have a variety of hours. However, since you will be touring at the height of the vacation season, it is safe to say most stores will be open to at least 10 pm if not later. You could check with the front desk of your hotel for specific times.

As for snacks and water, there are two big grocery stores around the Orlando area which you should be able to find-Albertson's and Publix. They have a wide variety of foods and are reasonably priced. I usually bring all of my non-perishable foods with me as the space they take up in the suitcase gives me souvenir space on the way home ;), and then go to the store for water, fresh fruit or other items that may not travel as well.

    Have a great trip!
