We are going on the Aug.13th Alaska cruise. we have 2 girls ages 12 and 16. Thay are both deaf. Since they are in 2 different age groups they will each need their own interpreter. will that be a problem.? I'd like them to be in the same group if possible.

    Ahoy Lynn!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  It is wonderful that you are taking advantage of having the Disney Wonder in your own backyard this summer! An Alaskan voyage with Captain Mickey is going to make for some fantastic memories for your crew!
I spoke directly with Disney Cruise Line about your question and found out some important information for you.  First, make sure that it is noted on your cruise reservation that both girls are deaf.  There are youth counselors who are able to sign on each ship so if it is noted they will be aware ahead of time.  Unfortunately, I can't promise they will be together, but I do recommend visiting Edge and Vibe once you board to discuss your particular situation.  It will be up to the youth coordinator onboard whether or not they can participate in the same club.  My fingers are crossed that everything works out!
Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!  Please let me know if you think of anything else before you set sail!
Have a magical day and wonderful cruise vacation!
