going aug 1-8 my daughter is just 40 in with shoes. She loves big rides. Are height req exact and do they have a measurement bracelet so they can get measured once a day. We have done this at other places not in disney lot of rides are 40in love this site

Disney is quite strict with the height requirements for the rides. On a few occasions, my daughters have even been asked to remove a hat or even take out a high ponytail to allow cast members to more accurately measure them.

There is no "measurement bracelet" at Disney World as there is at some other theme parks. Children are measured at least once, and usually twice, at every ride where there is any potential that they won't meet a height requirement. The measurements take place at the queue entrance and again directly before boarding the ride.

I know it can be frustrating if a child wants to ride an attraction for which her or she is not tall enough, but the height requirements are there to keep guests safe -- a priority for everyone. If your daughter is not tall enough for an attraction, then you'll just have to bring her back in a year or two which she's bigger :-)
