Hey, Casey! Are you ready for a splashtastic day at the Disney Water Parks? With as hot as the Orlando area has been the past couple of weeks, the water parks are definitely a great place to hang out with your family during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My daughters and I just visited Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park a few days ago and I can tell it was the perfect spot for winding down our vacation.
While both of the water parks and all of the Resort hotels do usually heat the water in their pools during the winter, there really is no need to during these hotter summer months. That nice, warm Florida sun handles the heating of the water quite well for them! Earlier this week, the water temperature on the attractions and in the wave pool was absolutely perfect for cooling us off, yet not making us feel too cold. I think you will find the water temperature quite refreshing!
Casey, as I mentioned, that Florida sun is quite bright and warm, so be sure to pack lots of sunscreen for your day at the water park. If you need to purchase some, you can pick up a tube at various locations, such as
Singapore Sal's at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Beach Haus at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your splashtastic day!
