Renee from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

What attractions & rides be unavailable on 1/14/25 at both Disneyland and California?

    Welcome to planDisney, Renee!

I am so glad you found us while preparing for your upcoming visit. Your trip is just around the corner and I know you are excited to plan your magical Disney Day!

As Yoda says, “Always in motion the future is.” With that in mind, the best way to stay updated on which attractions may be under refurbishment is to check the Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website.  Simply click on the “Closed for Refurbishment” section, located under “Schedules” to see the most current list of attractions which may be receiving a bit of Pixie Dust during your visit. You can also use the Disneyland App by clicking on the “All Hours” link and selecting January 14th. A list of closed attractions will be displayed towards the bottom of the page.

Currently, the Daily Events Schedule is showing the Disneyland Monorail, the Disneyland Railroad, the Haunted Mansion, The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Grizzly River Run, and the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind as being closed for refurbishment. However I mentioned earlier, check the Daily Events Schedule or the Disneyland App for the most up-to-date information! Do not worry, though, there are plenty of other fantastic attractions to enjoy!

In fact, as a “Q-Tip”, let me suggest a few alternatives to the attractions listed above. If trains are your speed, you may want to visit Casey Jr. Circus Train in Fantasyland. This charming classic attraction offers some of the best views of Fantasyland as you journey down the track with Casey! If iconic Disneyland rides are what you are seeking, matey, Pirates of the Caribbean be what you’re looking for! The whole family will enjoy the swashbuckling adventure that awaits you. If you are looking for an attraction that mixes thrill with a bit of a splashdown, head to the Bayou and hop on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. You will get both, guaranteed!

No matter what attraction you choose, Renee, the memories you create will last a lifetime. If you have any other questions as your trip approaches, please don’t hesitate to visit planDisney.

    Enjoy your visit!
