Hiya Shannon,
I am thrilled you have stopped by planDisney. What a great time to be planning a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. Not only will you be able to take part in
The World's Most Magical Celebration, but the parks will soon be decked out for the upcoming holidays. Additionally, the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing through mid-November. You and your taste buds can sip and munch around World Showcase as you enjoy food and beverages from six continents. You will definitely want to come hungry to this event!
Walt Disney World holiday season begins in just a few weeks with the start of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special ticket event occurs on select evenings at
Magic Kingdom and is a ghoulishly good time for all! Guests attending the party are treated to trick or treating, unique character interactions, special photo opportunities, fireworks and electrifying entertainment including the Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular stage show and
Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade! Besides all of those spooktacular extras, most attractions will be open for guests to enjoy. Some, like Mad Tea Party and Space Mountain have even been known to have a special Halloween twist added.
A list of attractions available during the party can be found here, though this list is always subject to change.
Be sure to keep your eyes open for Hitchhiking Ghosts and Headless Horseman. I have heard rumors they tend to be a little more rambunctious during these parties. Hope you have a boo-tiful time! If you have any additional questions, I hope you will
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
