    I am attending a work convention at Yacht Club. I am bringing my husband and two kids (ages 6 and 2 1/2) with me! I wanted to understand if yacht club will be OK for kids of that age, will the rooms have bathtubs, and will child care still be available?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad to hear that your family will be able to come with you during your work convention! Squeezing in some special family moments during your visit to the most magical place on earth sounds wonderful, and will definitely add lots of fun to your trip!

    While you'll find Disney's Yacht Club Resort to be very grand, it's also very kid-friendly, and I think that your family will love it! Stormalong Bay is arguably one of the best pool areas around the entire Walt Disney World Resort! Your kids will LOVE playing in the sand-bottomed pool, floating around the lazy river, and sliding down the super fun slides. And after your Mouseketeers have had fun at the pool, I'm happy to let you know that you'll find a tub/shower combo in your room, so they'll be able to take a bath. Plus, with other fun activities like Movies Under the Stars, you'll find lots of opportunities for family entertainment without even leaving the resort hotel. When you are ready to experience the magic beyond the hotel, you'll find that you're conveniently and centrally located to everything. You'll be just an easy walk or relaxing boat ride away from both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and a short bus ride away from everything else.
