Might be attending a wedding at the Grand Floridian this Dec. Wedding is at 5pm - if we are staying at ASM - when would you suggest leaving in order to get to the venue on time? Do they provide separate travel accomodations or would we take bus?

    Hi Greg,

Some wedding parties do provide dedicated transportation for their guests from a preferred resort to the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian. This would be up to the discretion/budget of the wedding couple. They would likely provide information about this in the guest welcome packet.

If transportation is not provided, you would be welcome to use Disney's free transportation system. To do this, you would take a bus from ASM to the Magic Kingdom, then hop on the monorail to the Grand Floridian. Normally I would say to get on the bus about 45 minutes early, but given that this is a very special event, you should probably leave ASM about an hour and a half before the service. This will give you plenty of time to get there as well as explore the Grand Floridian and take photos in your finery.

Congratulations to the happy couple and enjoy your trip!
