    We are attending the Summit cheer competition. And, I would like to link my hotel reservation to the my experience app. So, I can check in without going to the front desk at the resort. How do I get that reservation number listed with the resort?

    Welcome to planDisney, Brandy! Before you know it, you will be cheering in the stands! I’m excited to know you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for such a fun reason. I’m happy to help you link your reservations. 

    I find the easiest way to link Disney Resort hotel reservations, theme park tickets and even dining reservations is by visiting this site, where you will find step-by-step instructions on how to link all of these vacation elements to your My Disney Experience account. Any information you add to your account, should show up in the palm of your hand, right on your My Disney Experience app on your smartphone. 

    Once you link your reservation, pull it up on your app by tapping on "My Plans" and start your check in process. Your room information will be listed right on the app. No MagicBand? No problem! You can also use your phone to unlock your room!

    Brandy, staying at a hotel within the Disney Resorts Collection is always a great choice. You get access to complimentary transportation around the resort and you never know which character you might bump into in the lobby! Rumor has it, our favorite classic characters, Mickey, Donald, Minnie and Goofy have been making appearances in cavalcades at the different resort hotels! How’s that for a magical surprise?
