    Hello....I am going to be attending the summit cheer comp this next year and was wondering if I purchase park hopper plus tickets do i ALSO have to purchase separate tickets for summit or will the plus option get us into the ESPN center?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Crystal!

    As a former cheer mom myself, I know how excited those teams are to compete at Walt Disney World Resort!

    Theme park tickets with the Park Hopper Plus option do allow a certain number of admissions to extra Disney fun.  Those visits can be used at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach Water Parks, Disney's Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Courses, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.  Admission costs for special events held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, such as The Summit, are determined by the event planner.  So it is up to Varsity to determine whether a "plus visit" with your Park Hopper Plus ticket will be valid for admission, or if there will be a surcharge.  I can tell you that at last year's cheer summit, spectators for our local team were able to use their Park Hopper Plus tickets for admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the competition, with no additional tickets or fees necessary.

    For teams that will be competing, spectator packages and tickets are available through Varsity.  Ask your team's coach for information.  The Walt Disney World tickets that have been offered are discounted from those available to the general public, and include admission to all competition sessions of The Summit.  Tickets purchased from Varsity must be picked up in person at The Summit check-in tent.
