Hello! We’re attending OBB at Disneyland this year. Is there a way to book a wheelchair accessible area for the parade in advance?

    Greetings to you, Laura!

Welcome again to planDisney and we're happy to see you here with us! Congratulations on obtaining tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash. This event seems to get more and more popular every year and for good reason! The theming is incredibly immersive and Disney California Adventure is nearly unrecognizable after the Disney Villains take over the Park for the party.

One of the highlights of the evening is definitely the Frightfully Fun Parade. The Headless Horseman always precedes the parade by a few minutes and he's always an amazing sight to behold! In previous years, this parade typically occurred twice an evening, with the second showing usually attended by lower crowds. Since most of the general public has already exited the Park before the party, it's not too difficult to find a good viewing spot even a few minutes before the parade begins. The parade route is fairly long, stretching from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land. I usually have good luck around the World of Color viewing area or along the street into Hollywood Land.

I was able to chat with a Cast Member and specifically asked about a wheelchair accessible area for you. They recommended that you speak to a Cast Member once you are in the Park about a wheelchair accessible viewing area, so there might be another option for you. In the past, dining packages have been offered along with a reserved viewing area but no announcement has been made for this year so far. I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog for any updates.

I know you're going to have a wonderful time at Oogie Boogie Bash, Laura! Those immersive Treat Trails are so much fun and some of my best memories were from interacting with unique Disney Villains. Madam Mim and Sid are especially fun interactions. But don't miss Ernesto de la Cruz and his rendition of "Remember Me!"

Once again, I'm so happy that you were able to get tickets to this event, Laura! I hope this response was helpful for you and that you have a magical time at the Happiest (turned Spookiest) Place on Earth! If you have any further questions for us, please feel free to write again anytime!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
