    Hi, we're attending MVMCP and staying at the Grand Floridian. My goal is to get an awesome picture of my kids for our Christmas card! Are there any special photo locations you recommend?

    At the Grand Floridian, you're already in one of the very best spots for holiday photos. The glorious and gigantic tree in the Floridian lobby makes a perfect Christmas backdrop. You can take your own photos there or you can use a Disney photographer. 

    While there are not normally PhotoPass photographers hanging out in the hotel lobbies, several of the deluxe hotels offer special photo opportunities during the holidays. Look for a sign in the lobby for the hours, which are typically in the late afternoon and early evening. I've done this at the Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge and had the photographers take several dozen pictures during each session. 

    The life-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian also makes a terrific background for holiday pictures. If you want to visit other resorts, the tree at the Wilderness Lodge and the gingerbread carousel at the Beach Club are also lovely spots. 

    If you want photos in the parks, any of the large central decorated trees are fantastic backgrounds. There are also Santa meet & greet stations at the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. And since you're going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you may want to get family photos with Mickey in his holiday costume. 

    My suggestion would be for you to get the Memory Maker photo product which includes digital downloads of all the pictures Disney takes of you during your stay. The downloads are available within just a few hours after they're taken, which means that you can start crafting your cards right away.
