We are going to be attending MVMCP and I secured reservations on the same evening for the Tomorrowland Terrace dessert Buffet and Fireworks. Will this be a good place to watch the parade from also? Or will we need to relocate after the fireworks display?

    Hey Audrey!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
(MVMCP) and the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party are a magical combination. Not only will you get to experience the sights and sounds of the Celebrate the Magic castle projection show and Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season in a relaxed, hassle-free location, you will also get to enjoy the wonderful dessert buffet.

I would not recommend the dessert party as a location to watch any of the nighttime parades as it is several hundred feet off the parade route and there are many obstacles in the way. However, I have good news for you: According to the 2014 MVMCP guide map (http://www.wdwmagic.com/events/mickeys-very-merry-christmas-party/gallery/07nov2014-mickey's-very-merry-christmas-party-2014-guide-map.htm), the parade steps off twice each party night.

The first takes place at 8:15 p.m. If you chose to view this showing I suggest watching on Main Street, U.S.A. near the Central Hub in front of Cinderella Castle. The parade, which typically lasts 15-20 minutes, will be finishing around the time the party starts. You will have a short walk from the Hub area to the Tomorrowland Terrace. The second parade steps off at 10:30 p.m. If you chose to experience this showing, you will have approximately 45 minutes to stroll to your favorite parade viewing location as the party concludes at the end of the fireworks.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
