Holiday greetings, Aliya!
I just returned from a magical visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm missing all the holiday cheer and dazzling decor that surrounded me at
Magic Kingdom. While I was there, I was able to ring in the season at the first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 2019! Since you'll be attending this festive celebration at the end of this week, I'm happy to share some helpful tips with you.
My favorite spot to watch Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is in front of the Walt Disney Railroad Train Station located on Main Street, U.S.A. It's the end of the route but doesn't seem to be as crowded as some other spots. Before the parade, there will be
PhotoPass photographers with super cute photo props taking pictures along with some fun interactive singing and dancing to keep your little one entertained while you wait. Two parades, at 8:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., are planned each evening weather permitting. The all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. and can be viewed throughout the Park. There are some projections on Cinderella Castle, so you may want to secure a spot in front of the castle stage. Throughout the night, Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration will be presented on the Castle Forecourt Stage. There's one right before the fireworks (9:25 p.m.) and one right after (10:30 p.m.), so you can plan to see both.
Aliya, when you enter Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll want to grab a guide to the evening's festivities. This will provide you with all the details for entertainment, exclusive food and beverage offerings, complimentary holiday treats locations, what you'll find available in each land, and a map. As I look at my guide from last week, Queen Elsa will light-up Cinderella Castle during A Frozen Holiday Wish at 8:15 p.m. And I have a feeling your little one loves Disney Junior Characters, so I highly recommend Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Storybook Circus from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
I hope my answer is helpful as you plan for a jolly night at Magic Kingdom this Friday, Aliya. If you think of any other last-minute questions, please let us know.
Have a MERRY time!
Nancy
