Hi Tara, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m so excited that spooky season is right around the corner, and I can’t wait to see the Headless Horseman kick off the
Boo-To-You Halloween Parade!
Now, let’s chat about how allergy-friendly treats work at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. When you arrive, all attendees get a treat bag for collecting candy throughout the event. Anyone with a food allergy can ask a Cast Member for a teal-colored bag. When Cast Members see those bags at the
trick-or-treat locations, they’ll give out a token instead of the standard candy. These tokens can be redeemed at an Allergy-Friendly Center in the park for special treats! Last year’s offerings included YumEarth gummy bears and lollipops, Enjoy Life chocolate candy bars, free2b butter cups, Remy’s graham crackers, Werther’s Original candies, and Smarties. The treats can change each year (and even from party to party), but hopefully this gives you an idea of the types of candy you might find at the Allergy-Friendly Center.
There’s so much to do at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so I always recommend picking a few must-dos to prioritize during the event. My family always makes sure to see all of the amazing entertainment from
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks to the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular!
While the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., you can get into Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. with your party ticket. There are so many special characters during the event, like Sally and Jack Skellington, and in the past, some started meeting before the official party start time. If your crew is interested in characters, definitely get there early and ask a Cast Member if any meet and greets are starting early. That way, you can maximize your party time!
I hope you have a BOO-tiful time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this month. And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney!
