Will be attending the MNSSHP on 11/1, but will be arriving late afternoon on 10/31. Any suggestions of what to do to on Halloween? I'm hoping to find halloween activiies outside the park for that evening.

    Hi Jeanmarie,

Your family will love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, from the special parade and fireworks to the great trick or treat stations, it is a boo-tiful time.

We have spent the last few Halloweens at Disney World and have found two options for Halloween that we really enjoy. Head over to Downtown Disney and stroll the Marketplace area. The merchandise shops are a great place to trick or treat and there are tons of people hanging out in their costumes and enjoying the holiday.

The second option is to head over to Fort Wilderness Campground. You can either rent a golf cart, rent bicycles or book a Haunted Wagon ride (call 407-WDW-PLAY in advance) around the campgrounds. It is a tradition for many of the guests to decorate their campsites and even pass out candy. Many of the campsites are amazing and it unbelievable the amount of time that has gone into the display. It is a "scary" good time.
