Hello, I will be attending my first runDisney (Princess race). We are staying at the Disney Beach Club and I was wondering if there is any restaurants you would recommend for dinner before the race? Thank you

    Hi Annette!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm certainly a fan of pasta the night before a big race and I think you are in a great location to have a plethora of carb-loading options!

It's practically perfect that you'll be staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort because you have a couple options within walking distance, which will allow you to enjoy a delicious dinner and still get to bed early. If you have a park ticket for the day and will be in Epcot, I would recommend Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in the Italy Pavilion. This restaurant is certainly famous for their pizza, but their pasta dishes are not to be missed either!

If you won't be in the park or want to enjoy dinner a little closer to home, I would recommend Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk. Here you'll find a menu of classic Italian dishes to fill you up so you are ready to take on the Disney Princess Half Marathon. While it may be a splurge the night before a race, if you are looking for a truly fine dining experience, I would recommend the Signature Dining Restauarnt, Il Mulino at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.

Since it will be a popular night for pasta, I would definitely recommend making an Advanced Dining Reservation at whichever location you choose. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I hope you have a magical race!
