Hi Danielle,
Oh, I am SO excited to hear that you're going to be experiencing
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time! It's my very
favorite special event of the entire year and you are going to LOVE it! With gorgeous decorations, festive music, snow on Main Street U.S.A., scrumptious treats, special character meet-and-greets, low wait times for attractions, and an incredible parade and fireworks display that you won't soon forget, it's sure to put you in the Christmas spirit!
No official announcements have been made yet about which restaurants will remain open as usual and which ones will become Holiday Treat Locations, however I still have my guide map and program from last year's event and can tell you what was available previously. While it is, of course, subject to change for this year, hopefully it will help you plan a bit!
Last year, food was available for purchase at several snack carts and the following Quick-service restaurants:
- Main Street Bakery
- Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
- Casey's Corner
- Aloha Isle
- Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
- Sleepy Hollow
- Liberty Square Market
- Columbia Harbour House
- Gaston's Tavern
- Storybook Treats
- Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café
- The Lunching Pad
A wide variety of complimentary holiday treats were available at Tortuga Tavern, Liberty Square Ticket Office, Pete's Silly Sideshow, Pinocchio Village Haus, The Friar's Nook, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café, and Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies. So many amazing choices...mmm!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Danielle. I hope that you have a truly magical (and delicious!) vacation FULL of Christmas joy!
Missy
