We will be attending for our first Mickey's Very Merrytime Christmas party this year right before our Disney cruise. Do they have stroller rental during the special hard ticketed event?

    Welcome, Mary!

I'm so excited to hear that your family will be heading out on a true Land and Sea adventure with Disney this December! Every time my family and I set sail with Disney Cruise Line from Port Canaveral, we add a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort to our vacation plans before or after our cruise. Staying at the parks and resorts first is my favorite because while I love playing all day in the parks, it does wear me out, so having that relaxing, yet still exciting and chock-full-of-activities cruise to enjoy afterwards means I can get some down time in during the trip too! You're in for a magical adventure for sure!

At the Walt Disney World Resort, there are stroller rentals available each day, even during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so you can plan to rent one when you arrive at Magic Kingdom for this party. The party begins at 7:00 p.m., but often guests can get in as early as 4:00 p.m. with their party tickets. Stroller rentals are on a first come, first served basis, so keep that in mind as you plan your day.

Speaking of strollers, did you know that there are a limited amount of strollers available for guest use onboard Disney's ships too? They cannot be pre-reserved, but if you stop by the Guest Services Desk onboard, you can ask about borrowing one. They are free, but a security deposit on your stateroom account is required. If you are counting on it for sure, you'll want to stop there right when you board, before you head to lunch on the ship. But, if you don't need one onboard, just skip it because at Disney's Castaway Cay, there are lots of complimentary strollers and wagons available to borrow at the Pelican Plunge tram stop (the second stop). You can use these for the fun at Castaway Cay, just to get the most of your visit and explore the island even with tired little ones in tow!

Have fun planning this exciting trip, Mary, and please stop back again with more questions about your Disney Cruise Line Very Merrytime sailing or Walt Disney World Resort trip. We're happy to help!
