Ahoy there, Bobby! Oh my goodness, you must be just about all packed and ready to set sail, friend! Your cruise is almost here!
The way the shows work on any of the
Disney Cruise Line ships is that if you have a second seating dinner, the first show of the evening is timed so you can make it to your
dining rotation. If you have a main seating dinner, your show time is generally the show after your dinner.
While the show times may change, on my recent cruise onboard the
Disney Wish the shows took place at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. So, if you had the 8:15 main dining room seating, you could easily go to the earlier show and make it to dinner. Disney knows you wouldn't want to miss the
incredible live shows onboard, so they've been very thoughtful in planning the show times to make sure you can get to the theater.
Having said that, if for some reason you need to be a little late for your main dining room seating, they generally like you to be there within 15 minutes of your dining time. If you have early seating, there's another group of hunger cruisers coming in just behind you, and if you have late seating, they are trying to get the dining room ready for service the next day.
There you go - shipshape and ready to sail! Have the most amazing time on this beautiful ship, Bobby!
