Hey there, Charles!
Thanks for bringing your question to us, I’ll be more than happy to help. My question for you is, are you gearing up for the big game? My household is filled with football fans. To be honest, I lose my son to football every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, well you know the drill. I just know he’s going to be crushed after the Super Bowl since he’ll have to wait for football season to kick off again.
My fellow panelist,
Wes, confirmed with a Cast Member that if there is a Super Bowl Parade the
Festival of Fantasy Parade will also be happening. So you’ll have a chance to see two parades! Since it is a once-a-year event, my recommendation is going to be to arrive early, especially if you want a good glimpse of the Super Bowl winners who may be present.
My family is a natural rope-dropping family. I'm not sure if that is a little too early for you, but if I was able to be there, I’d plan to arrive closer to
opening time. There are so many things to do at Magic Kingdom to pass the time while you wait. My day would consist of a DOLE Whip and a visit to
Mickey’s PhilharMagic but sitting on the hub grass would be enough too. Any day at Disney is better than a day at home!
Charles, I also recommend keeping your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog closer to the day of the big game. That’s where you’ll be able to find new information and hopefully the announcement of the Super Bowl parade with details about the event.
Enjoy the game and have a magical visit!
Shantel
