Could we attend an Extra Magic hour the day we check-in? If so, does it count as a full day on our park ticket (e.g., if we have a 2-day ticket; now we only have 1 day left even though we only went to Magic hours?).

    Hello Katie,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help with your Walt Disney World vacation planning and questions, and happy to do so.

Guests entering a Walt Disney World park, during Extra Magic Hours, will need to use a valid Magic Your Way ticket to be admitted. This will count as one of your ticketed days, so choose wisely. If you would prefer not to use one of your ticketed days, on the day of your arrival, consider exploring your Walt Disney World Resort, taking some pool time, searching out and discovering other Walt Disney World resorts, walking, shopping and dining around the Boardwalk or visiting Downtown Disney and all the new stores and restaurants at Marketplace Co-Op and Disney Springs. Your options are endless and no ticket is needed for these activities.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
