We ate traveling with a large group in july of 2016. What is a must for dinner reservations with a large group( about 12 people). And where can i find info about new things/ events coming to the parks. Looking for something nee to take our 6 year old daug

    Hi Michelle,

Happy New Year! I just returned from the Walt Disney World Resorts with my family and best friends. The nine of us had a great time touring all four parks. You definitely want to make dinner reservations as the parks will be crowded and it is a good way to take a break from the crowds and enjoy the air conditioning.

When it comes to dining, it really is a personal choice. My favorite restaurant is Whispering Canyon Cafe. I mentioned this to our waiter the other night and he was shocked. While the food is good, it really is the atmosphere I love such as asking for ketchup or taking a pony ride.

Some other choices for a large group are The Wave, Cape May Cafe and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. We also love dining at the resorts. This allows us a chance to get out of the parks and the crowds. The Disney Food Blog always has good advice on dining.

As for things that are new, the Disney Parks Blog is my go to source for all that is new. If your daughter is a Star Wars fan, then Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is a fun experience.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
