Assuming I buy a 3-day pass, may I enter a park in the morning, leave for a short break, and reenter the same park later that same day?

    Richard,

Absolutely you can enter a park in the morning, head our for a bit and go back to that same park later in the day!

When my family visits Walt Disney World that is our basic daily plan. We try to be at whatever is our park for the day at opening. That helps us stay ahead of the crowds and get more done. But we always head back to our resort after lunch for naps and pool time. After dinner it is back to the park. We love this, because it means that the our kids don't get too worn out, but they still get to enjoy the parks in the evening. That is when the parks are at their most magical, and we don't want them to miss out.

Another good reason to leave the parks is if you have lunch or dinner reservations at one of the amazingly fun resort-based restaurants nearby. We will head out of the Magic Kingdom to have dinner at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and then back for the fireworks!

    I hope that this helps?
