would like assistance to plan an Alaskan cruise on Disney Cruise Line

Ahoy there, and thanks for sailing by planDisney!

I had to grab your question as an Alaskan cruise is next up on our Disney cruise bucket list. So let's set sail and plan together!

The Disney Wonder sails to Alaska from May to September, and in 2025, all departures will be out of Vancouver. You can pick anywhere from a 5-night to a 9-night sailing. The itineraries all include the spectacular glaciers, and, depending on which sailing you choose, you will also visit Skagway, Ketchikan, and Juneau. I noticed the 9-night sailing stops in Victoria, British Columbia, which is honestly one of the most picturesque places I've ever visited, so we may have to pick the longer itinerary!

Now, let's talk about port adventures while sailing. A few dear friends have sailed this itinerary before, and everyone raves about the dog sledding! The opportunity to meet and sled with real Iditarod athletes is genuinely magical. You also have the chance to view whales, sea otters, raptors, and bears on different adventures. If you'd prefer to stay a bit closer to land, I've heard the lumberjack competition in Ketchikan is a hoot, and you can top it all off with a pub crawl!

To start your cruise planning, you can book online or call a Disney Cruise Line Specialist who will be happy to assist with booking your adventure. And as always, you've got a friend in us, so sail back with any other questions!
