    We have been assigned a GTY 9D room and was wondering if anyone has had success changing their room after being assigned by Disney. Is Disney accommodating of this or does GTY not give us any additional flexibility? Any port terminal upgrades available?

    I spoke with an agent today at Disney Cruise Line about the possibility of changing your stateroom once a guarantee stateroom was assigned. It really depends on what type of guarantee you booked. Usually this is based on availability, so you may or may not be able to change it. Upgrades are able to be done if there is availability, both prior to cruising and at the port if still available. I'd suggest calling one of the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532. You can speak with them about your specific reservation and they can give you a better idea once they have all the details of your exact reservation.
