When do they assign rooms for incoming new guests?

Hi Michael! Thanks for writing! We don't know how or when rooms are assigned. That being said, there are a few things I'd recommend doing prior to your arrival. The first is online check-in. You can do this on the Walt Disney World website 60 days before your arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort. When you arrive, simply head to the Online Check-In Desk, where your welcome package will be waiting. Simply show your valid photo I.D., complete your check-in and your vacation can begin!

If you have any specific requests, for example a high or low floor, a particular building or area of the resort, you may want to call or fax your request to your resort a week or two in advance of your arrival. While there is no guarantee, they will do their best to accommodate your request.

Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Michael!
